03/01/09 Commander Hardlock is no more. After being mortality wounded during his major assault on browntown, the 20 years veteran ceased breathing last night. He was in charge of the coalition forces against the Eastern forces, which has been responsible for the obliteration of the civilian population and the rampant aggression on the neighboring countries. His followers will not only remember him as a great tactician but also a man of justice and honor. His death was pronounced at Goldcity’s hospital and the funerals convoy ended at the airport, where his corpse will be flown out to his hometown later this week. Since the death of Hardlock, the previous commander, the western forces leaders have been intensifying their assault in hope that it will destabilize the eastern forces troops, which are blocking any kind of support to both airfield and browntown from resupplying. Yesterday marked the 30th day of bombardment against Emerald city, the major supplying town for the eastern forces. The bombardment is not giving the results western forces would like. The civilian population already moved away and the manufacturing capability of the eastern forces doesn’t seem to have slow down. Western forces will not be able to resist that long anymore and if the United nations do not take a position on this endless war, it might result in a very limited support or even worse, no support at all. The United nations have been postponing their decision to support the conflict until more details will be given regarding to the helicopter crash on the eastern side of the country. The air space was under a military curfew for both forces and until proven otherwise, the Western forces would have been in violation, which could results in the withdrawal of all allied forces operating under the United nations control, leaving the Western Forces on their own. Goldcity militia is also not answering the patriotic call too quickly this time around. Since the arrival of the Western civilians, the supplies are getting difficult to get. Even the hospital is starting to low on blood, drugs and general medical supplies. According to the mayor, citizens will not take arms until they can be assure their kids and families will be in good condition. At this time, the children hospital is running at full capacity. During that time, Eastern Forces are reinforcing their positions moving troops and equipments toward browntown and the airport. There are still no sign of a massive assault but it definitely seems inevitable. To be continued... Team introduction This sequel is once again evolving around the Evil East against the righteous West. These two forces have been fighting for years, direct descendants of the Kreigers and Tropicos. While leaders have changed with the years, the soldiers experience, the terrain and the environments on its own keep bringing new challenges for all. West Forces Proud defenders of the poor and the oppressed, they have been supporting the Kreigers, a society of activist trying to save the country from the radical Tropicos. Along the wars, Kreigers became so weak that the leaders got no choices but to reach for help in the form of an outside coalition. The Western Forces coalition consists of neighbors and other groups military and politically involved for the betterment of the country. Its primary objective is to give freedom, democracy and justice to the country...at least in theory. East Forces Seen has the bad guys, they are coming straight from the Tropicos, a most radical and active militia group in the country. They have been at wars forever and don't plan to stop anytime soon. According to their leader(and god know how often a new one come on board), they just want to get rid of the strangers who come in the country supposely to free the population while in fact, are just their for their own goods. Obviously, their cause doesn't go without issues and they sometime need to get rid of the traitors. Ultimately, they will make the world recognized how their country is valuable and who deserve respect. Goldcity Free Citizen As in every conflicts, you always find the poor and defenseless civilian population. In this conflict, you better think twice. Indeed, while we can easily say that Emerald city and Browntown, the two major towns on the East side have been pounded and destroyed in the most part, Goldcity, on the West side, keep rising up. This little town started modestly with the only goal of surviving through yet another conflict. The town grew up to become the major city in the country and is now sheltering the refugees from the West side. No need to say, its population is starting to get fed up about it and are quickly taking actions to end the conflict on their own. a new militia is slowly forming up. With their limited supplies and the monitoring from the Western Forces, the GFC (Goldcity Free citizen) will have to outsmart everyone by funding their "freedom" the best they can. As they say: who wants peace prepare for war.
